Excerpts From the Current National Presidential Welcome Address in 2024
“I want to thank all my IANA members for making this association grow from strength to
strength. We are a group of Issele indigenes with a mindset of “never forget your
heritage” as we continue to assist our relatives back home in all areas of life.
IANA has been in the forefront of assisting people back home in the areas of healthcare
through medical missions…..thanks to Mr. Chibuzor Nwaesei who started this medical
mission under his Presidency. Our partners in the medical mission Anioma Medical
Professionals headed by a vibrant selfless leader Dr. Alex Chidubem Awunor has made
the medical mission a success each year. His collaboration with IANA has continued to
yield great fruits in ‘health is wealth’ for our people back home.

I want to thank my predecessors Diokpa Nwosu, Late Dr. Okolie Uwadibie, Dr. Edward
Diei, Dr. Ogi Okwumabua, Mr. Chibuzor Nwaesei, and Mr. Matthew Azuh for moving this
association in a positive direction.
Our joy in this association is our 2 nd Gen (our children) headed by Ms. Chiedu Nwaesei.
They are growing to become our leaders of tomorrow and we are very proud of them.
I want to thank everyone here today who has assisted us in one way or another in
making our fundraising event a success. God will reward you abundantly.
In the spirit of gratitude, I want to thank my executives and board members. Your loyalty
and commitment to IANA is unmatched and I am very happy to be your President.
Finally, I want to thank our father, the great King Obi Nduka, MNSE, JP for gracing this
occasion. His reign is an ordination from God as peace and progress continues to reign
in the Issele region.”
